Mekrio Terms of Service

Terms for using Mekrio AI image generation, including accounts, generated content, subscriptions, credits, payments, and usage limits.

Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Mekrio, an AI SaaS currently focused on AI image generation and operated by an individual owner. By accessing or using Mekrio, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Use of the Service

Mekrio lets users create images from prompts, presets, uploaded inputs, and related settings. Anonymous visitors may browse the website and try entering prompts, but submitting real generation tasks requires signing in. You agree to use Mekrio only in accordance with applicable laws, these Terms, and the product limits shown in the service.

User Accounts and Registration

Account Creation: To submit generation tasks, manage assets, purchase credits, or access account history, you must sign in with Google OAuth. Mekrio V1 does not offer public email/password registration.
Account Security: You are responsible for protecting access to your Google account, devices, and sessions. You are responsible for activity under your Mekrio account.
Accurate Information: You agree to provide and maintain accurate account and billing information where required.
Unauthorized Use: Notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Content and Intellectual Property Rights

You retain any rights you have in prompts, uploaded inputs, and generated outputs, subject to applicable law, third-party rights, and these Terms. You grant Mekrio the rights needed to process your inputs, generate outputs, store assets, display results to you, operate support, maintain service reliability, and comply with legal obligations.

Mekrio owns or licenses the service, website, brand, product design, software, documentation, and related intellectual property. You may not copy, resell, or misuse Mekrio branding or service components except as allowed by us in writing.

AI outputs can be similar to outputs generated for other users and may not be unique. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before using them, including for commercial use, intellectual property clearance, likeness rights, and compliance with applicable law.

Mekrio does not publish your generated assets or use your prompts, uploaded inputs, or generated outputs to train AI models unless you authorize us.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use Mekrio to:

Violate law or the rights of others
Generate, upload, or distribute illegal, abusive, exploitative, hateful, or non-consensual content
Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or confidentiality rights
Impersonate others or create deceptive content without proper disclosure where required
Attempt to bypass safety systems, rate limits, credit controls, or security features
Interfere with the availability, integrity, or performance of Mekrio
Resell access to Mekrio or automate abusive usage without authorization

Privacy and Data Collection

Mekrio collects and processes information needed to provide the service, including:

Account information from Google OAuth
Prompts, uploaded inputs, generated images, task records, and assets
Usage, credits, subscriptions, and billing metadata
Device, cookie, log, and security data

Subscriptions, Credits, and Payments

Mekrio V1 uses subscriptions and one-time credit packs.
Stripe processes payments. Mekrio does not directly process full card numbers.
Prices, plan limits, credit costs, renewal terms, and included benefits are shown at checkout or in the product.
You authorize charges for purchases, renewals, taxes, and applicable fees associated with your selected plan or credit pack.
Failed AI generation tasks should not permanently consume credits. If you believe credits were charged incorrectly for a failed task, contact support with the task details.
Refunds, cancellations, and subscription changes are handled according to applicable law and the policies shown at purchase or in account settings.

Generated Assets and Privacy

Generated images may be saved to your account asset library for long-term access. Mekrio V1 does not publish your generated assets to a public community feed by default. You are responsible for backing up content that is important to you and for deleting assets you no longer want to keep where product controls are available.

AI Output Limitations

AI systems can produce inaccurate, unexpected, offensive, or legally problematic outputs. Mekrio does not guarantee that outputs will be accurate, suitable for a specific purpose, free from third-party claims, or available without interruption. You are responsible for how you use generated content, including confirming whether outputs are suitable for commercial use and whether they may affect third-party rights.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for Mekrio or others, abused the service, failed to pay required charges, or if required by law. You may stop using Mekrio at any time and may cancel subscriptions through available account controls.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Mekrio is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mekrio disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, and availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Mekrio service operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost credits caused by unauthorized account access, or business interruption arising from use of or inability to use Mekrio.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Mekrio service operator and its affiliates, personnel, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your content, your use of Mekrio, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

By using Mekrio, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service.
